Yeah he volunteered to weld my seat brackets together after I get them cut and tacked. Considering it is a bunch of small annoying welds that was nice.

I needed some sheet metal for a small project and couldn't find suitable size and gauge at any of the regular steel shops. Eventually I worked my way over to Winters' off Hwy 5 and they had what I was looking for. They also cut it into the weird shape I needed which was nice.

They don't have heavy plate, just galvanized sheet 22 gauge and thinner, but that is more than adequate for some projects.

yeah That's about my time frame as well for the Waggy buggy work.
Looks like I'm going to need about 3 sticks of 2" and 3 sticks of 1.5"
Assumptions 0.120 wall DOM for both. ~20ft = stick

Other Items I'll pick up at Hilltop.

I agree, Hilltop seems to be best for small projects and you cant beat the price. I bought metal for sliders and had him bend it for $60. So a grand total of $70 you can't beat it. $60 steel, $6 rattle can bedliner and $3 hardware is so much easier to swallow than $300 bucks for something thats just gonna get beat up.

Oh and I'd say he's Menanite, once the Amish get married they grow a beard. Considering the kids bikes and such near the house I'd say he were married unless his wife passed.
