Default Side Steps/Rails/Nerf Bars for CJ5

I have a '73 CJ-5 with 35in tires, and a 6 in suspension lift. Side steps and/or rails/nerf bars are a must-have but I'm having issues finding them. Any suggestions would be helpful!

Thanks!
B

Sounds like a nice set up.

If you can't find any online It's possible to have someone Make them.
There are a lot of people in the club with tools and the skill.
I know Billy does a good bit of work on the side.

Awesome! My friend and co-worker recommended this site to help get good advice on my jeep & to meet fellow jeep lovers. Looking forward to meeting everyone.

Keep an eye out for the meeting notice. The officers are making the plans for it and should announce it soon.

I Will add to my earlier post that a lot of the aftermarket Nerf bars are really only good for looking at they will not handle any offroad abuse.

Look for something that calls it self a "Rock Rail" .

I don't know how much you plan on doing with your Jeep but for Hard Core protection look at someone like Poison spider. : http://shop.poisonspyder.com/Jeep-CJ...rmor-s/113.htm

For more of a bolt on step protection you can go with something like http://white-knuckleoffroad.com/jeepcj5.htm

It is also fairly easy to fabricate either of these with a few tools.
