Default RC Crawler

For those that were interested. Here is the link to the RC Crawler kit I had there.

As with any RC's there are weak points.
Customer service is one of the weakest with the Exceed brand.

Since buying this car, I broke a gear and it took 6 months for it to become available as a spare part.

This past weekend, I stripped out the plastic steering servo arm. Plan to upgrade with aluminum.

Other than that, it's a pretty good starter car for the price. $168 plus shipping.
My Rides:

Default Re: RC Crawler

That one looks pretty neat. I bought a Venom Creeper over the winter so I would have something to tinker with in the house. It does not come with any electronics but I had a few old parts laying around.

If you end up wanting more channels look into the Flysky GT3B or GT3C. It is a cheap Chinese 3 channel controller that can be hacked to control 8 channels. Once it is reprogrammed you can setup up 4 wheel steer mixing, suck down winches, lights etc.....the crawler you bought has dual motors so you could get another speed controller and set it up to do front and rear digs.
