A cookout sounds like a great idea during the warmer months. Who's got space for it? I sure don't

Good thread, yep not many places to go at all. Charlies is accomodating and I think it is pretty good and the price aint bad. We are going to do Cheeseburger once it gets warm. A BBQ at someones house or a park would be cool as well.

Meetings on Saturdays seem to draw the most people out and are the most fun and we will do a couple coming up. May after big dogs and the wheelin should be good.

We have also looked at Chipolte's and the waterfront restaurants over on the potomac by the big bridge, they are huge inside, good food and cool.

Problem is no one has a room to meet in and you can hear enough to talk.

We have done Berts but they did not care if we liked it or came back, this was a few years ago.
A&W was Ok for a sat during the day.
BBQ at the Allens was way cool, HA HA

I hope to make the meeting this time, Charlie's food can't be as bad as ChileAppleTuesday.

Oddly enough, the consistently best food in the county is Mexican, namely Salsa's in Ltown and Monterey in San Souci.
The seafood places all do things way differently, so unless you're ordering a couple dozen crabs, it's hard to know what to get unless you've had it before.

Charlies is pretty good. their super chilie explosion burger that you have to eat with a fork looks good. I agree with you though Salsas is always good and the service is fast!

If you have any of my birthday presents (Jeep parts) still at your house from the March meeting, bring them in, better late than never!!!

Of course it's also a great time to pay your dues if you haven't done that yet.

See you there!

Ping!
