Bear's Den 2015
Happy New Years everyone.
Now get off your couch and do something. What are you working on?
I'll be busy working on MAX, Mark's Comanche this weekend.
The axles and links are set up and I'm finishing the frame plating today.
Then it's on to the bed mounted fuel cell and tire carrier.
2015 Projects:
Marks CJ (formally known as the Leaf Blower)- Fuel lines, reassembly.
Aric's YJ (Yes,, Aric Farmer) Axles, fuel cell, tube fenders, cage, etc. (March)
Lance's YJ - Bigger tires, tube fenders.
Your POS here?
If you don't have anything to work on, come on over.
Gunny

Re: Bear's Den 2015
We just bought a 1957 International Harvester A110 to build as the new tow rig for the CJ5.
Only thing is, the rear fenders on it are not the original ones. Since you guys are crazy good at fabricating, how difficult/costly would it be to do up a pair of rear fenders for this (one day will be beautiful) step side?
If it means an extra trip to 'Merica this year, then that would be ok with me!

Re: Bear's Den 2015
That's all right Steve.
We'll be back at it today finishing Josh's truck.
Seat tie in's, grab handles are finished.
A couple more tubes around the sides are all that's left.

Re: Bear's Den 2015
Spent the day tearing into Jason's XJ replacing the head gasket.
Gasket is finally replaced and re-torqued, but ran out of time on the reassembly. We will be finishing it up tomorrow afternoon.
Have a birthday party for one of the grandkids in the morning.
