Default Samurai

Okay,
Many of you have heard story's of this Samurai that I have.
A few of you may have saw it in the garage over the past 6 months.

Here are a few pictures of the finished Bumper.
I also have added a Toyota Power steering setup.
A custom Panhard bar.

It already had a Spring Over lift with missing link shackles.
Loc-rite in the front
4:1 transfercase
Setting on 31"s

If your wondering why the pictures show it still partially in the garage. I just finished it at 10:30pm and am too tired to make another test drive thru the yard just for a picture. I can promise it has been tested in the Yard and Passed with flying colors.
If your wondering when you will see it on the trail. I don't know.
This actually belongs to my Dad and I will be taking it back to him very soon.
But I can promise that it will be wheeled. My Dad has 17 acre's that he likes to explore with it as well as any local trails he runs across in the Mountains of North Carolina.

Later,
Dion

Now that's a sweeeeeet bumper. Love the sunken winch mount pan. Not really digging those built in turn signal mounts, but ya gotta do what ya gotta do.
Too bad it carrying a Mighty Mouse winch.

When are you going to start making the Jeep version?

This is a one of a kind. Like every bumper I build.
I had to extend the frame rails 7" just to have some place to build this "Nameless" bumper.

I think the turn lights will look better once I paint the plastic backs Black.
And You don't even notice them when your standing there looking at it.
Plus the lights fill in the Huge space between the bumper and the grill.

As for the winch. They are slow but reliable. Also they are CHEAP. Which is why it was able to almost fit in my budget.

All this from one web wheeler. It's amaizing what you can learn on the Internet.

Oh yeah, I forgot.
I had another design for mounting the turn signals in a bent piece of metal that covered the gap between the grill and the fender step. But I can't find my Metal Break. And I ran out of time to go looking for it after I came up with the design.

Speeking of that How is Marks buggy coming? (whole different thread.)

Metal brake, what metal brake?

Marks is going slow as I'm busy as, well you know, and Marks gone a lot lately. Hope to get back at it soon and then post up a tread on it.
