Did anyone reserve space for HRC? I am definitely in. The Cherokee will make the trip. Just trying to find out if I need to reserve a camp site or if the club has reserved sites.

Putting up poll for icebreakers attendance to gage how much of what to buy for club dinner. Post up on that thread as well for what sides you're bringing.

Weather is saying there might be rain Saturday. I plan to head out around noon Friday, as long as something doesn't go wrong when I go to load it on the trailer again.

Well, we didn't have a great turn out this year, but those who came up were not disappointed. Had Jason, his brother Justin and his wife, Kevin and Bri, and Josh. Was a little windy and cool, and didn't end up on our usual camp spots (52, 53, 54 at camp 3), but all worked out in the end. Ran the 5 trails with Matt Corum as our guide, no winch, but had a 46cc chainsaw strapped on the winch plate. Ran first out after the meeting, up corum (1/2 way) down cobra, up sissy, meshmash, at this point had a JK with a blasted sidewall, Matt did a 11 plug repair to that and he wheeled his way out to his spare at camp. Down Sissy, Down Nasty, up middle road, went up to pinnacle but got sidetracked at Bunny Hole and watched something that used to be a Blazer suffer, to be followed by something that used to be a JK walk through like a mountain goat. Everyone was asking for T-REX. Then down canyon and that was Saturday. Started to rain around 1800, no action at the mud pit, night run was miserable, only 7 rigs showed up. Sunday AM, I bagged out around 9, Jason reported they left out from the drivers meeting, went down a trail just past camp 6 that was basically a mudslide (down camp 8?) spent the better part of the morning getting out of that, then off to overlook, broke camp after 1200. No carnage to speak of, except for Jason's brother Justin, who also was wheeling an XJ, who found a bad P/S front u joint while en route to the crapper. By the time he got back from the parts store, Kevin had the front end broke down and ready for the new u-joint, went back together easy. Justin also bent his tie-rod, which we removed, put in the fire, then bent back into shape so he could wheel Sunday. Recommend we vote Justin in on the 9th, and then give him the TSP! Cornered the Cove owners about being event sponsors, handed out about 50 postcards, gave 500 to John Hunt. Final count was 3 XJ's, 1 JK, and 1 Josh! And as usual, if you weren't there....sucks to be you!
