That works, makes for a shorter drive up.

Rcvs in, jeep is back together.... I'm in this weekend. Good news is that there is absolutely no way I'm replacing a front shaft this time...broken or not. Those axles are a major PITA.

Pretty much what you would expect for wheeling on that kind of a weekend.

damage report.

John = Broken RCV, 3 wheeled the rest of the weekend
Steve = mangled exhaust, trail fixed with winch
Mike = broken leaf spring, limped off the trail
Danny = where to start.... broken pitman arm, (rigged back together); driveshaft fell out getting off the trailer (new bolts installed); spark issues (resolved)
Nick = T-Case slipping, fuel leak on the fuel rail caused them to pack up Sat AM before trails, glad we caught it before hitting the trails. would have been a fire for sure.
Tim = NO DAMAGE

They were all pretty minor issues, but for the type of trails we were on; I was surprised at the level of carnage.

AOAA western reserve has some potential. Now that I know the way to the good trails, I'm anxious to give it one more try before saying its not worth the extra drive. otherwise its great for bumping along on green trails.

Rausch was great as usual. had a nice campsite with the whole group all tucked in by ourselves out of the wind and dust. Having my dads RV was awesome, no wet tents to put away.

Henry did great for his first 'man trip'. having another set of hands to help with him was great. We got a little wild on three wheels on trail 5 and he said at the end he wanted to go again.

Overall it was a good weekend to get out of the house and in the woods. Not the most extreme wheeling trip we've taken, but we had a great time none the less. Beats the hell out of sitting at home all weekend.
