Default I have returned

I have been bitten again by the 4wheel bug. Shortly after I started following the group and wanting to trail ride my brother blew up my truck. I have the itch again to go trail riding. I am looking at purchasing either a S10 blazer or a full size pickup. Not sure yet which would be better for me. I definately want to get into four wheeling again.

Hey Jason,
I know Kevin had a Good Chevy full size for sale a while back at a good price.
There are also a few Jeeps ready to go that have been posted recently.

Glad you found your way back.

How well would a stock s10 blazer do on the green trails at RC?

There are several green and light blue trails that it would be fine on.

A lot of the body damage question depends on driving style/skill as well as vehicle size. I'm a pretty bad driver so all my rigs have trail rash.

Jason,

in theory you could, however, once trail "enthusiasm" takes hold, you may not be able to help yourself. Joshman could probably better explain, after wheeling his beastie, which I saw go into the woods straight and come out....well....not so much.

Greens at rausch creek, guaranteed some "west Virginia" pinstripes, buit not much body damage. Greens at Big Dogs....well they call it that for a reason, the greens are like the blues at rausch, so...not so much.

But hey, roll on out to the meeting on the 9th and maybe there'll be a little more advice as well as a few film clips....

I picked up a 88 XJ. Unfortunately it is stock. Fortunately that means once the checkbook rebounds I will be able to put the lift I want instead of someone else's already lifted ride.
